Dato’ Marcus Kam Kok Fei a graduate in Chemical Engineering from Monash University and holding two masters degree in Biotechnology and Business Administration from University of New South Wales Australia joined Kam Holdings Group of Companies in 1992.

Dato’ Marcus Kam currently is the Group President & CEO of Kam Holdings Sdn. Bhd., a holding company with diverse business interests in the medical diagnostic field, chemical analytical and consulting services, environmental monitoring and assessment, distribution of health supplement products and lifestyle community network and membership program.

Under the flagship of Kam Holdings Group, the two companies namely: Pathology & Clinical Laboratory (M) Sdn. Bhd. (in short PATHLAB) and Chemical Laboratory (M) Sdn. Bhd. (in short CHEMLAB) with 80 branches spanning over Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong are now the leading provider of healthcare services in the ASEAN region.

In addition to the medical based industry, Dato’ Marcus Kam has also diversified into the healthcare membership program under the wings of MXM International Sdn. Bhd (MXM). MXM takes absolute pride in offering its members a wide range of comprehensive healthcare program. As a MXM member, one will receive numerous benefits and privileges which encompass from comprehensive health screening, F & B and Gym membership discounts to insurance protection coverage and wealth building opportunity.

Since its incorporation in 1998, MXM has seen tremendous growth in size and improvements in quality of services. The company has over 30,000 members to date.

9th March 2007 marks a significant history for MXM. On this day, MXM had a ground breaking ceremony for its new Headquarter, a 14-storey MXM Tower at Pusat Dagangan Phileo Damansara II, Petaling Jaya. The 14-storey MXM Tower interior and space is the brainchild of Dato’ Marcus Kam and it serves as a hub for all the business and activities of its members to maximize their income through MXM unique membership recruitment system. This Tower was officially unveiled to its members on 8th August 2007.

Being a multi talented business entrepreneur extraordinaire, Dato’ Marcus Kam has a great passion for dining and wining which consequently leads to the creation of his own food and beverage outlets namely King Crab Seafood Restaurant located in P.J, Marco’s Pizza Restaurant which is located in Kelana Jaya serving home made pizzas, pasta and authentic Italian cuisine and Taste of Thai @ Titanium which is located at the Ground Floor of MXM Tower serving a variety of authentic and delicious Thai cuisine.

Dato’ Marcus Kam is also an active participant in the professional and trade organizations and also holds key positions in several reputable associations, amongst others, Dato’ Marcus Kam is the President of Malaysian Association of Private Medical Laboratories (MAPML), council member of Malaysian Retailer-Chain Association (MRCA) and a member of Young Presidents Organisation (YPO-WPO).

Despite his busy schedule leading and heading a diversified group of companies under the umbrella of Kam Holdings Sdn. Bhd., Dato’ Marcus Kam has found time to do charitable work and helped raised funds for charitable causes. The recipients amongst others are The Handicapped and Mentally Disable Children Home, Orphanages, Shelter Homes, National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia and a notable event is his co-organising China Disabled People Art Troupe in year 2001 which help raised more than RM600,000 fund for the Yayasan Sin Chew charity fund.
